At this year's festival, attendees can experience the Lee's Summit Medical Center Sports Zone in the parking lot on Douglas St, across the street from the fire station. We'll have several sports-themed games and activities for the kids and a photo booth. Be sure to visit the Sports Tent, sponsored by Security Bank of Kansas City, for autographs from local athletes and giveaways - and we'll have the game on!

This year’s event is full of family-friendly entertainment and activities for all ages to enjoy. Kids’ Street on Douglas Street from 2nd to 3rd streets is packed with booths and vendors catering to the younger crowd.
Sports & Autograph Booth
Presented by Security Bank of Kansas City
Visitors to this year’s Downtown Days Festival will want to stop by the Sports Booth, sponsored by Security Bank of Kansas City, to complete their festival experience. The Sports Booth, located on Douglas at the Lee's Summit Medical Center Sports Zone, will have opportunities for festival attendees to win prizes at the Spin to Win Wheel, visit with local athletes in the autograph area, and watch live sporting events on TV in the booth. Prizes available during the weekend include tickets to Royals games, autographed Chiefs memorabilia, and gift cards to local Lee’s Summit restaurants.
To some of the younger festival attendees, the carnival and its rides are the main attraction of the weekend. Tickets are sold at the carnival entrance and can then be redeemed to ride the carnival rides. On Sunday, June 9, bring your kids out for wristband day where you can buy a wristband for your little thrill-seeker and they can ride unlimited rides during festival hours for only $20 per person!
PS – the wristbands fit adults too, but we suggest saving the funnel cake until after you’ve gotten your fill of carnival rides.
