The Clementines began as an acoustic duo in March of 2011. They immediately jumped into songwriting, constructing heartfelt songs of an alternative rock & blues persuasion, with the occasional touch of jazz, folk, and pop. After a year of performing nearly every venue in the Kansas City area, as well as Columbia and Lawrence, KS, and receiving great critical praise from a variety of music reviewers, The Clementines decided to add to their sound. They expanded into a 4 piece group, adding a rocking new rhythm section to the mix. Now, just over a year later, The Clementines are finishing up a full length self titled album, booking gigs all over KC, and moving people with their music. The best has yet to come from these passionate musicians.
